Aaron Crest has a reputation for providing the very highest standards of care for it’s residents. It is dedicated to providing exceptional person centred care to meet the social and personal care needs of the residents. Aaron Crest provides nursing care, general residential care and expert care for people within the dementia spectrum.
Aaron Crest Care Home has just completed its 16 bed extension to the highest standards and is now registered for 68 beds plus it has been awarded a 5 star RDB rating. As you would expect from New Century Care and Aaron Crest, our professional standards are high. We employ experienced Registered Nurses and Care Assistants, who continue their professional development with further training to ensure that we provide 24 hour professional support for the people living in Aaron Crest.

The Manager at Aaron Crest is supported by an experienced team of staff who are all trained in looking after people, including those with dementia and complex care needs. The care is person centred and is tailored for the individual; so that each person living with us has their own personal plan of care that’s unique to them and meets their emotional, psychological, spiritual, social as well as physical and personal care needs. We employ experienced Registered Nurses and Care Assistants, who continue their professional development with further training to ensure that we provide 24 hour professional support for the people living in Aaron Crest.
About Aaron Crest
At Aaron Crest Care Home you can relax in the attractive and comfortable lounge as well as an open dining area, with quiet areas where you can read, chat or spend time with your family and friends. All rooms have all the necessary safety features such as smoke detectors and a Nurse-Call system to ensure 24-hour confidence and reassurance.
You have your own room so you can maintain your independence and privacy-although if you wish, you can spend time with your fellow residents in the lounge or dining area. We know how important it is to have time and space to yourself, so we put a lot of effort into making sure your room is pleasant, comfortable and personal to you.
Bedrooms are homely and comfortable and some television aerial sockets and some offer telephone points. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated with room for your personal belongings, so you can dress your room in a way to make it feel your own.
Our person centred care plans can be seen across all areas of provision – in our cooking, menu choices, hospitality, housekeeping and the organisation of activities for our residents.
Activities
Stimulation and activities are particularly important to our resident’s who enjoy physical and mental activities such as baking, reminiscence sessions, painting, music, arts, gardening, and armchair exercise, all of which helps bolster their strength and energy, improves their appetite and humour as well as offering them the opportunity to interact with staff and other residents.
We offer the highest quality of care which is supported by a variety of visiting healthcare professionals such as a local GP, dentist, optician, physiotherapist and chiropodist. We also have a visiting hairdresser. There are regular visits from representatives of different religions, who also hold services in the home.
Outside the Home
Situated on the outskirts of the pleasant rural town of Skelmersdale Aaron Crests’ frontage looks out to a row of magnificent oak trees and offers plentiful parking.
The rear of the home boasts large beautifully laid out gardens and grounds which includes a feature gazebo and many attractive seating areas where the people in our care, their family and friends can enjoy the warmer summer months.
