SUMMER FETE AARON LODGE
We had our summer fete on the 16th of August, 2011, but unfortunately due to the miserable weather we held it inside but everyone still had a great time!
We had Kevin who had the home rocking with his wide range of music which had residents on their feet enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was great the residents had a stall with gingerbread men which they had made and a variety of other cakes. In addition we had lots of other games etc which were enjoyed by all.
Guess the number of sweets in the jar was won by Paula .These were enjoyed by all the residents
Many thanks to everyone who supported us, we are still collecting money as we are selling raffle tickets with five amazing prizes! All the residents and their families thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we hope to have an Autumn Fayre in the near future

MARCH NEWSLETTER
Hello everyone! We hope you are all well!
The refurbishment is all finished now and I’m sure you’ll agree looks great!
To celebrate this, we are having a re launch party on Monday 21st March. We will be having a champagne reception, entertainment and the Mayor of Liverpool will be our special guest. The event starts at half past one and will be a great party for everyone- we hope to see you there!
We wish our chef Stefan good luck as he has reached the finals of the New Century Care Chef competition. Stephan is off to represent Aaron Lodges and the results will be printed next month- Good Luck Stefan we are all proud of you!
We have lots of activities planned for this month with some not to miss activities such as Pancake Tossing on the 6th March and St Patrick’s Day Celebrations on the 17th March and our Champagne Reception for the completion of the refurbishment programme.
We would like to thank you for all your patience during the refurbishment, we hope you all like it.
Incidentally, we are also pleased to introduce Rachael who is an aroma therapist providing aromatherapy, should you like more details regarding this, please do not hesitate to ask.
We are fundraising at the present which will support the outings scheduled for this Spring and Summer, the residents have said they would like a Day Trip to Southport, so we are selling Spot the Ball tickets to contribute towards the costs. We will also be doing various raffle tickets to go towards our Easter Hamper. If you have any donations or prizes we can use for the raffle they will be gratefully received.
As we are during closer to sunnier weather we are beginning to plan for the Gardening competition. We will begin planting later on this month and we hope to do one better and win the competition this year! If you like gardening and would like to help out please see Rachael.
